Art that gives experiences of Nordic wildlife

The feeling when we encounter the power of the Nordic wildlife is mighty. It is a nature experience that exists only there and then, in the middle of the dark forest, on the mire, or out in the green landscape. It is precisely that experience I want to convey through my art and my paintings of animals and Nordic nature.

As an wildlife artist, I strive to create a work of art that gives you that feeling of being in nature yourself. Where you get to experience the animals’ special power and the magical calm of nature.

My paintings are created with layer upon layer of oil paint, where each brushstroke builds depth and life in the motif. When you gently run your hand over the painting, you can feel the structure of the paint beneath your fingers. It is through the artwork that you get a natural experience from the wildlife that I paint. This is original artwork.
